Characteristics of Annelida

They have a long, cylindrical body.

Their Body is segmented both internally, and externally.

   - An advantage of segmented bodies is that individual segments can be very specialized at different    tasks.

They have nervous, digestive and closed circulatory systems.    anal cirri                                                                            

Some species have a pair of leg like appendages

 that are attached to every segment.

Annelida are cephalopods.

  -The concentration of nerve cells and sensory structures are in their head.

        They have a hydrostatic skeleton.

       Some types of Annelida are: Bloodworms, Nightcrawlers,  leeches, antennae, and other various           segmented worms.
