Characteristics of Rotifers

        Rotifers are multicellular organisms

They are very small in size.

They only have a few hundred cells.

Rotifers have a crown like cillia used for locomotion and to put food in their mouth.

They have either one or two light sensitive red eye spots.

A Rotifers foot can extract a sticky substance to be used ass an attachment device.

They have many shapes to suit their environment.

        They capture bacteria with cilia.
