Introduction

A wetland is an area of land which consists of dry land and water. Wetlands are more commonly found near lakes, ponds, or any other bodies of water. There are three categories for wetlands; marshes, swamps, and peat lands. Orchids are beautiful plants species that have been enjoyed by humans for years. They have been the symbol of love, luxury, and beauty for centuries. Greeks looked at them as a symbol of virility. Orchids require a temperature range consistent with their place of origin: some demand high temperatures and flourish in a hothouse, others are quite content with the temperature of the typical home (temperate house), still others are unhappy if the temperature rises above 60 degrees (cool house). The goal of conservationist is to protect the wetland that have the have the largest population of Orchis isozymus and Orchis polyzymus. Allelic frequencies measure the genetic variation within a population.  Allozymes are enzymes variants with different electrical charges. Allozymes are seen on enzyme electrophoresis gels.
